Clare Swayne

I live in Bristol and divide my time between taking photos, designing things and teaching French & Spanish.  I have two children and set up SnappyFamilies after realising it wasn't just me who wanted to capture all the magical moments and stages in a child's life...  As they have grown and become more interested in the world, so have I!! and my work as a photographer has grown to include more commercial photography - events and products, especially my Alphabets, which are now taking over!!

My role as a family photographer

The objective of SnappyFamilies is to capture the spirit and personality of your children in surroundings in which they feel comfortable.  The style is relaxed and fun with your child as they really are, not posed or propped up in front of formal backgrounds.  I prefer to photograph where there is good natural light and where children are happy to play, be spontaneous and forget that there is a camera present.

Digital photography delivers excellent results and doesn't have to cost the earth.
